Guest guest
I am in Stage 7, with full adrenal fatigue, and have been for at least two years. Yet, I function relatively normally. I sleep more than most but have enough energy to go on multi-hour walks, run a business and raise 2 kids on my own. My labs, from November are: Cortisol Time Value Range Assessment 7am 10 13-24 depressed Noon 1 5-10 depressed 4pm <1 3-8 depressed I didn't do the late one. fell asleep. Cortisol Burden 12 depressed DHEA 2 3-10 depressed My sex hormones were all fine except testosterone, which was elevated and has always been so. My thyroid readings were all normal but on the low side. I've begun, again, using cortisol and find that I'm getting wired in the afternoon and by 10pm am not sleepy. I'm dosing 7.5mg at 6:30am, 5mg at 10:30am and 2.5mg at 2:30. I did not take the 2:30 today. I just realized that for the past three evenings I have been very short with my kids, back to the witchy behavior I used to exhibit a few years ago. this in addition to the more wired feeling. My symptoms of adrenal fatigue seem to very mild and my reaction to the cortisol seems to be strong. Any thoughts? Thanks, Ellie in Kathmandu
