Guest guest
NO! The whole reason you take HC is to stabilize your temps. You should also take it on a regular schedule, but you said 5-10 mg/day. It should be the same amount per day. How do you dose it? How much NT are you taking? And what ARE your average daily temps? Guest guest
It's a long story really so will not to go there unles I have to. I have not taken my temps in ages but when I was they were 35.9 degress c -36.9 in the mornings just on waking. They used to take a dive in the afternoons too. Once I started the HC I never woke cold nor got cold in the afternoons. I am at the moment on 210mg NT. I am waiting on some thyroid bloods to came back as I have hypo symptoms again. Just before the hypo symptoms I was hyper for a day or two and thought maybe the adrenals may have been causing this. I am now tired all the time. I have a little energy in the mornings then go down hill. My feet hurt to the point I can hardly walk on them. I have had this in the past but found with an increase of NT this helped. My last bloods a month ago were the lowest they have ever been. Either because it was not getting into my system or the NT has finally taken over my thyroid. I think possibly I have to get my throid more stable. I am just going through a glitch but not a very good glitch. I was taking 5mg HC in the late morning to help with the afternoon coldness and need of a nap. Now I have started taking another 5mg hc earlier in the mornings as well as the later morning one. I can't afford more testing. I'm done, no money left. On questionaires, neurolink testing and energy testing I come up with mild adrenal fatigue. I am at a stage now where I am sure I can tell the diffence if it is thryroid or adrenal. I have been like I am now and with the increase I improved big time but still needed the little amount of HC to stay swake and keep warm in the afternoon. For some reason taking too myc HC makes me knacked. I have also tried to increase the STTM way and that was no good either. That's why I think I only have a problem with my afternoon cortisol. Especially when my thyroid meds seem to be balalnced. I do sometimes wonder how long I would have to treat for the afternoon cortisol before it is resolved. Guest guest
if your blood levels of thyroid are low, it is JUST hypo not adrenal. If it is low cortiosl you will feel hypo symptms but blood levels may be high or normal. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Could this be a RT3 issue? Your symptoms DO sound like thyroid to me because at my most hypo that is how I was, especially that foot pain. I am wondering if the thyroid you are taking is not getting to the cells but just pooling around in the blood? Would taking only T3 for awhile remedy this? Guest guest
Thank you everyone you have been very helpful. I do think most of my problems are thyroid related as when I once had my meds stable alot of my symptoms were gone. One thing I don't get though is why in the afternoons do/did I get cold and need a nap. I am pretty sure if I stop the HC I will need to start napping again. I can start to get tired any time from 10.30am ish on, but most of the time it would start around lunchtime. Again on most occasions I have a nap and I am good for the rest of the day. This is only when I have my thyoid med most atabel. That's kind of why I thought maybe only my afternoon cortisol might be a little bit of a problem. I do think abou the RT3 but we don't do that test here and I can afford to do it overseas as yet. I will post my next bloods and see what you think if that is ok. They should be here Mon/Tues. Thanks again Margo > > Could this be a RT3 issue? Your symptoms DO sound like thyroid to me because > at my most hypo that is how I was, especially that foot pain.
