Cold Feet/Nose/Hands and Low BP

Even with socks my feet are ice cold, as is my hands and nose. And my

blood pressure is still as low as it always has been, about 90/50. I

am on a natural T3 supplement and Isocort(and lots of other

supplements). Shouldn't this be getting better?

I am taking 6 Isocort a day (4 in the am and 2 in the afternoon). I

take one 15mg pill of T3 each morning(I dunno what it is as my

Naturopath puts it into a blank bottle from her supply). I also take

one Iodoral, one B-complex 50mg pill by Solor Ray, Floradex, Acerola

powder(vitamin C), cod liver oil(nordic naturals), magnesium(natural

calm), and a natural postnatal(nursing). Oh I also take digestive

enzymes and probiotics. I stay away from wheat and dairy(except

butter), and when I do eat it my nose runs and I get congested. I have

stage 4 adrenal fatigue(test done last July), high levels of epstein

barr, and anemia(stored iron, yet I think the only reason the free iron

is up is because of the floradex) which I have been fighting since I

was 2(I'm 29). Oh and I'm on a homeopathic remedy.

Have you had free T4 and Free T3 labs, ferritin? That is a wee dose of T3. Maybe

you would do better on Armour? Can you take Isocort or HC tro support your

adrenal fatigue? If you have already addressed this, I'm sorry. It is hard to

keep everyone straight. :)

I'm on Isocort(6 a day), and my labs last month showed that my

Ferritin was 37(normal range of 10-154). My TSH 3rd Generation was

2.18 (range .40-4.50), and my Free T3 was 246 (range 230-420). Not

sure if this matters but looking at my other labs done at this time

that are in the low of the normal range are my absolute monocytes(was

211 range is 200-950), absolute eosinophils(was 76 range is 15-500),

and absolute basophils(was 22, range is 0-200).

You are low in Feritin. We feel best at 70-90. You need some iron. And - your

free T3 is barely outta' the bottom. It should be near the top of the range.

Looks like you need more thyroid medicine. Val will no doubt weigh in here with

her expertise.:)

Did you have cortisol labs done before you started Isocort? How much Isocort and

Thyroid are you on? Recent thyroid labs?

For stage four you will most lieky need HC rather than Isocort. I think

it si simply too weak. You are also on a MINUTE amount of thyroid. I am

assuming that was a 15mcg? I take 150mcg daily on all T3. Just for

comparison.

It sure sounds like hypothyroidism, and T3, more than anything helped mine. I'm

not on any now, as I'm working on getting cortisol levels regulated. Whatform

of natural T3 are you on? I have only used synthetic, timed-release T3.

Would like to hear how it has worked for you.

Thank's so much,

Pat

My last cortisol/adrenal test was in July, the only one I have had, and

Though I should add my labs from last July. It was a 2 tube test,

and I took it at off times (10am and 11:30pm), and was by ZRT.

Estradiol 1.7 Range 1.3-3.3

Progesterone 63 (low) Range 75-270

Ratio: Pg/E2 37 (low) Range Optimal: 100-500 When E2 1.3-3.3 pg/ml

Testosterone 43 Range 16-55(age dependend)

DHEAS 3.7 Range 2-23 (age dependent)

Cortisol Morning 3.4 (low) Range 3.7-9.5

Cortisol Night 0.1 (low) Range 0.4-1.0

Also should add that I have been on the Isocort since August(same

dosage), and that I just started the T3 in October.
