Guest guest
I would like to thank everyone for all of the wonderful thoughts and prayers for my beautiful Mom. For once there is good news. She went in today for her Angiogram and came out with fantastic news. There was no blockage detected. Now we are just going to have to go threw the process of elimination ( which we all know about) to find out why she is so short of breath and dizzy all the time. Once again Thank you for being there for me threw this, it was a very stressful and tireing day, but well worth it. I just hate the thought of looseing her, I know it will happen one day, but I hope and pray not for awhile, because she is my buddy. Love to all, Sandy

Guest guest
Hi , Sandy here from Oregon. I am sorry I havent posted to you, as I am sure you have read my hubby is criticaly ill, but I am not writeing to you about that. I have PLS I was first diagnosed with M.S 7 years ago until last year when they changed my diagnosis. I am 43 years old. You have found a great group of friends here, that will help you and your parents the best we can. First off I am sorry you all are going through this, it sounds like your Mom is falling down hill pretty rapidly. Shame on the doctors to scare all of you with putting a time limit on her life. In my view they shouldnt do that because they really dont know. Everyone is a little different with this disease. I have found more information with this group than with my doctors. There are so few of us out there that they really dont know a whole lot about it. I am my Neuro, primary and rehab doctors first patient with PLS. I am on Baclofen and Neurotin for spacticity, Provigil to help me through the day Trazadone to help me sleep and am also on medical marijuana. It sounds like to me like your Dad is really depressed over your Moms condition. Does he have any help with your Mom? Have they concidered a caregiver? Is your Mom able to get on a computer? She must be miserable not being able to speak to anyone who truely knows what she is going through. I would be lost without this group. You sound like a very loving, careing and supportive daughter. Please feel free to ask for help and we will do our best to try to help you and your family. Your friend, Sandy
