Guest guest
I just had to share this because I know that aside from me and my husband, no one else except this group would get the excitement of this story. Emmett, 3 1/2, is deaf in his right ear and has a mild loss in the left, which is aided. Today we're trying for the first time the Bi- CROS, basically a mini-FM system for the right side of his head. It looks like an aid that he wears on his right ear (minus the ear mold) that transmits the sound to his left ear via the aid. I put it on this morning and whispered in his ear and for the first time ever, he didn't have to turn his head to hear me! He jumped up and down and yelled, " I heard you, I heard you! " Then he repeated what I had whispered and said, " Can you do that again? " Wow. I immediately called my husband. We're just overjoyed. Amazing to think Emmett now knows he has an ear on that side of his head! Thanks for listening, and letting me share my joy. Johanna
