I am coming in late on this but, are you 100% sure it is the Cortisol

that is making you irritable? I ask because the stress of this time of

the year tends to make me more irritable and short with my family. I

notice also that I have been hyperfocusing on every little thing both

physical and emotional in trying to track this illness and I wonder how

beneficial that is for me. Anyway, just some thoughts more directed at

myself I guess than you :) but, worth thinking about.

Nil,

I don't have much brain either. The other day, I heated up my coffee

(decaf) in the microwave, took out the mug, walked to the sink and

poured it down the drain. GAH!

I agree with Barb, I question that stage 7 too. I'm stage 7, and if I

get the animals fed, litterboxes changed, get to the grocery store, or

cook dinner, or do one load of laundry or a little vacuuming, that is my

day, and I certainly usually cannot do all of those in one day. I can't

walk 15 minutes, or I'd be back to using my canes for a few days (done

it, in fact).

Re: irritable on cortisol

I just raised to 30 mg 2 days ago, and also just raised my T3 to 56.25

My BP is still falling on standing, and my temps are not stable, but the

unstable temps happen for a few days every time I raise T3 so that

should level out again soon. The first day on 30 mg, my BP actually did

rise on standing, so though it is falling again, that should mean (I

hope) that I'm getting close to a my ideal dose.
