Guest guest
Hi , Use this link to get to the " Defining the Thyroid Scale Page " . the print is small so you have to zoom in to see where your lab results fall. Let me know if you have trouble figuring it out. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
OK, so then what do the results mean?? My levels are all over the place on the graph?? Are these normal ranges?? My TSH is under -7, but free t4 is +1. This is all new to me. Thanks > > http://www.drrind.com/images/ts_ranges.gif > > Sorry - the link didn't come through. > > > --------------------------------- > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
Well, you need your FT3 to do this scale. But I don't find this scale to be very accurate. He considers optimal TSH between 1.3-1.8, which I consider WAY too high. I know that I'm hypo when my TSH is that high. And I know some people feel much better with a FT3 higher than the 320- 330 he considers optimal. Val, do these general guidelines make sense? If not, what should the numbers be? TSH <1 FT3 > 320 FT4 > .8 and < 1.3 Barb " scubjay " wrote: > > My total t3 was 94 (60-181). > I havent had the free t3 measured yet. Guest guest
TSH <1 FT3 > 320 FT4 > .8 and < 1.3 Personally I like the TSH as low as possible. TSH means the body is sking for more thyroid, if it is well supported there shoudl be 0 TSH. Mine is .015 I ma happy here. The T4 I do nto ever like to see above 1.4 but below 1.2 people are hypo. T3 It depends on if you are on Armour or Just T3. I think if oyu are on just T3 you need a higher free T3 to carry you through where conversion would carry you otherwise. With Armour I think in the 400-500 range is good but with T3 only at least 600! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
