Guest guest
Hi,and congratulations Val on your numbers. I have been taking Isocort since late May. It has helped a whole lot. I was stage 3 Adrenal fatigue with elevated morning , high normal noon, depressed evening and elevated night levels. My doc said a few months ago that I have PAD and that is why my legs hurt when walking or going up steps,or carrying things. She just felt pulse at the ankles so I am going to ask for more tests Mon. when I see her. She doesn't know anything about adrenals , and not much about thyroid. I am supposed to walk alot to make my blood vessels grow new ones, but I get too exhausted if I walk much, and I am supposed to walk thru the pain, which gets worse the more I walk. Is this not bad for the adrenals, in that it is a lot of stress? I had to go get some papers at our county courthouse a few weeks ago and couldn't get a close parking space and the parking lot was uphill and it nearly killed me to walk it without stopping. I was wore out the rest of the week. This was on a Tuesday. I am supposed to be walking 1/4 mile by now without my legs hurting and it ain't happening. My temps have been averaging within .2 for the last 2 weeks. So now I don't know what my leg and hip pain is from. I am on Levoxyl. Haven't worked since last Feb. when I nearly collapsed from exhaustion.I am taking sea salt and all the other vitamins and minerals I have read about here, except iodine.I feel fine now except for the leg and hip pains and exhaustion if I walk much. Walking around in the house does not bother me, but If I wear my shoes I get tired quicker.Usually stay in bedroom shoes.Went to Target last Sat. and was only in there long enough to get one item, at the back naturally, and was tired Sun. but that was all. If you guys say iodine and Armour could possibly get me on the road to recovery, I am ordering some! I want to go back to work!Sorry this is so long. I read all the posts here and have learned so much, but I don't see PAD mentioned here, and there is only about 5 people posting on the vascular group I joined and they don't have thyroid and adrenal problems to go with their PAD.Thanks for any advice ... Guest guest
ARMOUR THYROID would be my suggestion. I used to have the worst pain in my legs and feet and hips. ALL went away with proper thyroid treatment. They diagnosed me with vericose veins and wanted to do surgery on my legs.. Funny they don;t need it now 13 years later. I was on Synthroid when this diagnosis happened. T3 is what your body needs and if oyu cannot convert well liek most of us, you will never feel well until you give your body the thyroid hormones it needs. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
