K have you got a glucose meter? I would suggest you get one as with

a dose that high of HC you need to be CERTAIN it is hypoglycemia you are

feeling. They are cheap and sometimes free if you ask at a pharmacy but

the test strips are expensive, but you won;need to test much just enough

to clarify your situation.

Yes, I do have one. In the past when I used it, it never showed

anything unusual. Recently, it did not either. I just took it, while

eating, and it was 105.

What exactly am I looking for? When should I take it, too?

Thank you so much,

K

Hi ,

Take it when you have the smyptoms that make you feel that it is low. :)

During eating won't tell you anything. If you take it two hours after the start

of a meal, it should be normal by then. Normal is 70-105 on my

i-STAT machine.

Thanks, .

2 hours after a meal they run 114-116. What does that indicate? I

have symptoms then.

If you are talking about glucose that is fine for 2 hours after eating. It does

not come back to fasting numbers THAT fast. It takes a full 5 hours after a meal

for true fasting numbers.
