I just use my digital as usual while sitting. Then turn it off and back

on, get it ready to take the reading when I stand up, then stand and

push the button immediately.

I am not certain all the fine details matter, nor the exact readings. I

did have one day when BP did rise upon standing, (at least 3 checks over

the course of the day) but the next day they went right back to falling

on standing. So I do think my unit can detect rise/fall on standing,

even if the numbers aren't perfectly accurate.

Maybe I don't tighten the cuff enough, but no it isn't constricted.
