Guest guest
, You very well maybe dealing with PTSD BUT I noticed for myself, my adrenal issues mirrored my PTSD symptoms. So when I was going through my adrenal crisis I thought my startle response and hypervilgelence, anxiety, insomnia, strong heartbeat was a return or an extended PTSD symptom. This confused me at the time because I did not have a stressful event to trigger the " PTSD " . When I began my cortisol replacement my " PTSD symptoms " went away (in 1-2 days) because they were NOT PTSD at all, they were adrenal fatigue. When I began my electrolyte replacement (sea salt), I instantly became calm, and had normal reactions to things that startled me. I could drive without freaking out about unexpected people changing lanes. My normal reaction did not include the full body chill/adreneline I had experienced for years. All these years I had been " shrink wrapped " or " Paxil-ed " with the wrong treatment plan! I'm sure other members have echoed me with this: start with your adrenal fatigue by ordering a 24 hr saliva test. You can order this test through Canary club--compare prices to your insurance. Once you get your saliva test, you will know what time of the day your body needs the most support. And what type of support is needed for your results. Keep on reading, the only way to get better is to be well informed. Tasia
