I have a question. Is there anything I can do to warm up my feet? I have

always had cold feet, but now they are freezing. I have all the warm socks and

stuff, but what I really want to know is if there is a way to increase the

circulation to my feet. I assume that is why they are cold. Thanks, Jeanne Ann

Have you tried tight fitting nylons? How about excersizes to help with the

circulation problems?

Just a couple suggestions.

Hello to all--

Thanks to all those who responded with ideas and comments and to

all who said " Hello " to Carol and I; , Jane ann, Jeanne,

Laurel, etc.Missed you all at the Spring Fling. The socks and

microwave warmers sound good. Pity I didn't pick up the socks when I

was in WV!

Carol and I are doing OK. Carol had open heart surgery in

November after experiencing serious heart failure due to a bad

Mitral valve. They were able to repair it and 2 holes they found and

a bypass. Serious stuff. Ain't medical science great! Now if they

could just cure PLS!. Carol is fine now and in good health.

I'm a little weaker and progressing slowly but Max is doing just

great. He is such a great pal and idolizes Carol. We are resuming

his training as a service dog. He understands all my signs and

grunts. He and I take walks in the neighborhood.

Made it to Ronnie's Spring Fling but afraid we won't make it to

Chicago. Carol has too many other commitments, her 97 year old Dad

and her daughter. After her recovery she has little time off to take.

Regards to all--Ed

Hi Ed,

I am sure happy to hear that CArol is on the mend. I am home sick for a couple

of days with strep throat.

It feels like I've been hit by a truck.

How nice to hear from you again, after quite an absence.

Take care,

Laurel

Laurel,

I hope you are feeling better the last couple of days! Life is hard

enough when you don't have anything else going on!

Hugs,

Sue Me

Dear Ed:

I don't often log into PLS-FRIENDS, but am so glad I did this

morning. Please tell Carol she is in my prayers for a speedy

recovery. Was pleased to read about the progress with your service

dog. It was great to see you in Berkeley Springs and I am looking

forward to a repeat visit next Spring.
