Hi All!

A friend of mine from Church asked me this morning if I needed a

scooter. He told me his grandmother had bought it for herself and had

never used it. He is going to get the name and model number to me if

anyone is interested. It's original cost was $5500 and he is asking

$4500 for it. He also said that FedEx can ship it and is the cheapest

way to go. I don't know about that, but the scooter sounds like a deal

if anyone needs one.

If you are interested, contact me personally at the email address that

came with this message.

Thanks,

Mike Gray

This may be a bargain, but I would check around first. The price sounds high for

a scooter. I found a new Rascal scooter on the Web for under $2000. It may be

that I am comparing apples and oranges, but I would check it out first.

I don't know anything about the Rascal scooter, but I bought a Pride

Sonic two years ago for $1200. $3000 sounds kinda high to me.

Edith:

My mother just bought a pride, it didn't cost any where near $3000.00,

about $1700.00 and Medicare paid for it. Something doesn't sound right.

Rascal's are expensive, but very, very dependable. Mine is over 4 years old

and all that has ever been done to it is replace the batteries once. I think it

costs about $5000.00 new.

Jeanne Ann,

Thanks for the support. I was told that the Rascal I just posted on this

site was too expensive at $3000. This is a brand new, never used model.

The woman died before she had a chance to use it. She paid $5000 for it.

$3000 for a brand new one doesn't really sound that bad now.

Remember, it has never been used, but has been assembled. Shipping is

the only problem and FedEx may do it. I don't know how much it would

cost, but that might bear looking into. I gave the email address of the

person who is wanting to sell it so you can contact her directly. They

actually may even be willing to come down even more. They just want to

get rid of it.
