Guest guest
I know it's the average of 3 temps a day that's important but I can't see how it can be healthy to have such a huge variation in temperature at different times of the day For instance Monday was 96.7 97.7 97.8 = ave 97.4 Tuesday 98.0 97.1 97.3 = ave 97.5 My first temp of the day (3 hours after waking) is usually very low but yesterday it was 98.0 and I thought I be on the right track but no, today was back down to 96.8 and the second one is only 97.0 I am on 32.5mg hc and 150mcg T3 Lynda
Guest guest
Lynda have you ever had Aldosterone testing? I am seeing some patterns with strange temps with low aldosterone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
no, they will not do it here - NHS restrictions I am taking sea salt twice a day though Would it be harmful for me to do a trial of florinef? I could try and source some although I don't know how long it would take to get here Lynda Re: temperature variations > Lynda have you ever had Aldosterone testing? You would ned to start at 1/4 tab for 7-10 days then go to 1/2 tab for the same and ETC. Lower it the same way if you get too much fluid retention. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Would florinef be a permanent addition or would I be able to wean off eventually Also is it taken in addition to hc or instead of Lynda Re: temperature variations > > If you do it slowly adn carefully I do nto feel there is harm in > trying it. Guest guest
>>Would florinef be a permanent addition or would I be able to wean off eventually Also is it taken in addition to hc or instead of<< ith adrenal fatigue is si usually a temporary thing just as HC is. It CAN have some glucocorticoid activity but usually not enough ot change HC dose but you have to play it by feel. If BO starts to go too high I would try lowering HC. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks Val, just one more question - promise! As you saw my temps average is stable around 97.4 but varying a lot during the day. Still 97.4 is a very low average, so before taking florinef do you think it might be a good idea to raise cynomel higher or hc higher or both hc currently 32.5 and cynomel 150 if I raised hc to 35 or 40, how long is it safe to stay at that dose Lynda Re: temperature variations > ith adrenal fatigue is si usually a temporary thing just as HC is. > It CAN have some glucocorticoid activity but usually not enough ot > change HC dose but you have to play it by feel. In some people the thyroid does nto seem to get to the cells properly without the addition of this is it is needed. You may not need more HC if you add Florinef in other words. It also helps support the adrenals better so after adding it you can then raise T3 withotu danger of further stressing the adrneals if they really need it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
