Guest guest Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 I had a mild cold last week and did not stress dose until about the third day. I didn't want to stress dose if I could get away with not doing it because I didn't want to go over 30 mgs. BUT, about the 3rd day of my cold my adrenal pain came back strong. I stress dosed when I couldn't handle the pain anymore, but held it as low as I could. My back ached for a few days. I'm thinking I shouldn't have tried so hard to avoid stress dosing. Guest guest Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 All it does by NOT stress dosing is uses u what little cortiosl reserves you miught have built up which then stops the thyroid getting to the cells adn you feel miserable for a week after.
