>> My temps are all over the chart. Since Wednesday, averages of the 3 a day

temps - 97.9 - 98 - 97.2 - 97.7 - 97.5 - 97.0, missed Thursday.

My basal average for the first 12 days of Dec is 96.8 -- Does this mean I

need more Armour? I am at 3.25 grains but was waiting for another week to up it

to 3.5, however, my pulse is 86 and sometimes 100. I'm lost as to what to do

next. I will get labs after the month of 3.25 is up. I've avoided labs because I

don't want any doc trying to interfere. :) <<

You need to get better cortisol stabilization before raising thyrodi at all.

Actually just getting ENOUGH cortisol may raise your temps as well as stabilize

them. I would continue raising HC.

>> I'm dosing HC at 2.5mg every 3 hours as suggested by Janie for a total of

17.5mg a day.

Val, you told me to get alsosterone/renin tested. The doc only ordered

aldosterone. Will that be of use without renin? <<

Aldosterone by itself is fine. It will tell you if it is lwo but not whether

your problem is adrenal or pituitary as it would if you had both it and Renin.

Hi Barb,

When she told me to take it every 3 hours (sleepies) I figured to split it into

2.5mg doses, or I would be longer than 3 hours in between doses. I would like to

go back to four doses.

Is this correct? Or do you mean you take something like 7.5, 5, 2.5,

2.5?

Well, your temps are unstable and Val said to raise. Can you go 4

hours between doses without getting the shakes or nausea? If so,

then try 7.5, 5, 5, 2.5, with the last one right at bedtime. Or if

you DO get shakes and nausea, then keep to a 3 hour schedule, but

same dosing.

was concerned about my blood sugars going up, then last night I realized that

my Lantus insulin was over the date. Duh, opened new vial today and numbers are

good again.
