Sorry for shouting. I couldn't help myself. I was . . . oh, 12 . . . the

last time I fit into a pair of shorts/pants this size. (I'm a pear so this

is a BIG thing to me.)

Oh . . . they are size 6 Liz black jean shorts. :-)

Wow you are at 158.5 and wearing a size 6!!!! that's great. I'm at

184 and still in a size 16 shorts. I don't have a big butt or a big

gut I think it's the birthing hips that I got from my 2 lovely

children. ;o)

Hmm wow,

that is amazing!!!!! I didn't really pay attention before, I'm 5'7 myself 156 pounds and I think I'm about a 10 on the bottom!! (waist size varies depending on water intake 29-31 inches) my hips are a little wide, about 38 inches... size 6 is like an impossible dream for me, I can't even imagine size 8!! and tops, well, nevermind, depending on the cut I still have trouble in some XL's (boobage)

WOW now that is SO awesome Beth! I can only dream of that size again. And Liz, she is like my favorite designer EVER!!! I have been there before and hopefully with perseverance I can get there again. Hi guys,

Yep. 5'7 " and change. 158.5#. SIZE 6 SHORTS! Actually, I don't

think I'm really a true 6 on the bottom yet . . . I know that Liz

often tends to cut her clothes more generous than others. (It's

seems like the more expensive they are, the bigger they're cut,

doesn't it?? But . . . I got these babies for $1 at the thrift

store!) I have jeans and shorts ranging from 6-10. The 10's are

really baggy. The 8's fit pretty well, maybe just a little baggy

after wearing them all day. The 6's . . . hey, I said they fit. I

didn't say they weren't tight! :-)

On top, I probably am a pretty true 6, athough I have big shoulders,

so something really fitted there would be a problem.

I am actually almost the exactly the same size as my sister (before

she got pregnant) but I am 4 inches taller and weigh almost 40#

more. (I haven't told her yet. She's 8 months pregnant. I figured

I'd wait.)

But . . . I exercise A LOT, folks. That (and lots of good protein)

has made me pretty dense, I guess! :-)

For the record, for those who weren't around then or don't

remember . . . my goal when starting Atkins: to fit into a size 14

(I think I was about an 18 at the time, but had been up in the 22-24

range at one point), so I wouldn't have to shop in the big girl shops

or sections any more. I never dreamed I could wear a 6 in pants.

Never. Not until a few weeks ago, when I finally fit into those 8

jeans. (That's when I bought these reference shorts.) The smallest

I had ever been as an adult was about a 6-8 on top but an 8-10 on

bottom . . . and that was almost 15 years ago!

OK, I've rambled on enough. Just keep on keeping on, Atkids. :-)
