Guest guest
Marjie ~ Your surgeon is right. When one does NOT feel hungry and does NOT supply the body with proper nutrition, there is deep doo-doo. Eat by the clock. You don't want dehydration, protein deprivation, etc., etc. You want to be able to stabilize your weight. And if you gotta set the timer, then set the timer. I had to do this also as I was NEVER hungry. Only took a short time for me to be skeletal before I turned to setting the timer. 7 Secrets did NOT work for me. You do need to listen to your body, though. Do you feed edgy, dizzy, shaky when you don't eat?? Hunger is NOT the only clue that you need to refuel your body. dawn

For people that have had surgeries that are more malabsorptive or they are on certain medications, physical hunger is very hard to connect with and the clock may be indeed be the best solution as to when to eat, but there are still 6 other 'secrets' that are invaluable and being aware of how what you eat makes you feel will help you make proper food choices in the long run. ) Vicki
