I'm happy to say I'm at 184 this morning. That's 2.5 pound loss in

just this week b/c I had stayed at 186.5 for 3 weeks.

You need to request it Ruthie. We have two types, you can be on neither,

either or both.

One is a chart that basically shows start weight/current weight/goal

weight/amount lost so far/ percentage of the way to goal/ amount lost since

last report/ weight last report. If you want to be on that one, I need your

name, optional location, start/current/goal weights, date started, and how

much you lost last week. Then each week, I just need your name and current

weight.

The other one is a graph that shows your history of loss as a line plotted

(weight against time) - for that one, I just need your name and current

weight and I update that once or twice a week as people report in. (I can

back date if you have a start date prior to now (up until the end of March)

and we'll just make your loss be a straight line until now)

For both charts, I delete people who haven't reported in for 2 months so

they stay relevant.

Way to Go . Great job getting those pounds off. I hope over

the weekend I'll kick a little more weight off. I think my goal for

next Friday will just be to get to 183 I know I can't expect a 2.5

pound loss every week. Before my little stand still I was loosing

any where from 1-1.5 pounds a week it seemed.

I'd really love to be to my mini goal of 175 by my birthday which is

Sept 14th so I think I can make it only 9 pounds to go.

Well I'm liking this even more than I did before and before I was IN

LOVE WITH ATKINS so now it's TOTAL LOVE. I'm down another .5 today

to 183.5 if my dh hasn't lost or gained anything I'm only 1 pound

from weighing the same and 1.5 from being less than him.

I did exercise for 30 mins last night on the treadmill (1 whole mile)

and I'm getting ready to go at it again. Am I sick or what.

Sue, I don't think you're sick. I have found, for me, personally, exercise

is VERY addictive! I usually only go to the gym M-F but this week I missed

Tuesday and got up this morning and decided " I'm headin over there " figuring

I'd *take it easy*. Well, I don't know the meaning of that phrase. Once I

get started I just LOVE the feeling of movement and <don't keel over from

this one> sweating! I feel like I'm doing something so incredibly good for

myself! I use the treadmill for 1 hour at between the 4.0 and 4.3mph speed

so as to ensure I do at least 4 miles each day. Now, and this is a

tremendous surprise to me, I even do a few minutes of jogging (6mph) every

15 min or so. I mean, I can't even believe this is ME anymore.

Talk about a life altering experience - low carb has truly turned things

around for me!

Marlena do you eat alot of fat or do you take the essensial oils.

Yesterday when my hubby took me to lunch I had baked salmon and last

night my ketostix was very dark. The darkest its been in a long time. I

wonder if fish or seafood make it darker??

No, Laverne, I don't take the essential oils. Just the Basic#3 and Dieter's

Advantage.

That happens to me too! When I eat salmon, shrimp or crab... I don't lose any

weight, but I DO get a darker reading on the ketostix. hmmmm, any ideas?

Kathy, I wonder if the iodine in the fish has anything to do with it.

?????

I did lose 1/2 lbs yesterday. No great loss because I still have 6 lbs

to go to get back to where I was.

If it would cause me a 1/2 loss I would drink it instead of water! LOL

Kirstie,

I would like to be added to the charts, please. Sunday evening I

finally bought a reliable scale and would like to join everyone in

the weekly weigh in times. Thank you for doing this - I hope it isn't

as much work as it appears to be!!!!

Name: Connie A.

Location: Missouri

Start date: June 18, 2001

approx. start weight: 237 (had a lousy scale so who knows??? but

I'll go with that)

Current weight: 227

Goal: 140

Ok Connie - I've got you added. I only upload the charts once a week, so

when the Friday weigh-in reminder goes out, you just have to send me your

name and current weight. :-)
