Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone here tried amino acid therapy? Have you had your neurotransmitters measured and customized amino acid therapy prescribed? I am working with a DO who has had some success with using amino acids. Would love to hear any experiences. Thanks, Robin
Guest guest
I'm on a customized amino acid formula. It has made a huge difference in my energy level. I was low in quite a few amino acids, in particular ones that help to detox and metabolize fats. Am also taking undenatured whey for the glutathione and between the two, it is making a world of difference. I have finally been able to wean to lower amounts of HC, (am now only taking 5 mgs per day, 2.5 each at breakfast and lunch) with no side effects. Next week I'm dropping the morning dose of HC. I have been using raw goat's milk kefir for about 4 months also which has really helped to start healing the leaky gut problems. Adding in the undenatured whey has dramatically helped. Added a couple of new supplements, Ocean Plasma and Magnesium Oil, and really like those also. Linn > > Hi, > Has anyone here tried amino acid therapy? Guest guest
I have not but think this would be good therapy since adrenal fatigue impacts the synthesis of amino acids and breakdown of protein. I am amino acid deficient and supplementing orally has not helped at all but bet an IV type method would work better. Cheri Amino Acid therapy Hi, Has anyone here tried amino acid therapy? Guest guest
Linn, I would be VERY interested in getting more information from you in terms of Amino Acid treatment. I have malabsorption & I would like to look into supplementation of Amino acids. Can you send me any more ifno you can or maybe group links you are involved with that talk about this? Thank you , Re: Amino Acid therapy I'm on a customized amino acid formula. It has made a huge difference in my energy level. Guest guest
Glutathione is great for folks with mercury and other heavy metal issues. It helps the liver get rid of that junk. There is one theory that autism which is often an oxitocin deficiency, is caused by a person's inability to handle mercury due to a deficiency of this enzyme. Our body makes it but obviously for many, not enough. By the way Val I just accidentally sent another email without writing anything on it, just the part I was responding too. ignore it. Sorry. My fingers were quicker than my brain! Guest guest
I definitely have mercury issues. The glutathione has been great for my energy levels. My youngest is starting it soon, she's not detoxing well at all, with her T1 diabetes, that not a good combination. Linn > > Glutathione is great for folks with mercury and other heavy metal issues. Guest guest
I invested in a far infrared sauna (per Dr Sherry ' book, Detox or Die). It is THE BEST way to rid your body of mercury and other toxic metals via sweating using the lower temps of the far infrared heat. Also you can use NAC (amino acid which your body uses to make its Glutathione. Because if your buying Glutathione the reduced Glutathione is what you need and it is so expensive. NAC is much cheaper and has worked very well for me. Delores Re: Amino Acid therapy > I definitely have mercury issues. The glutathione has been great for my energy levels. Guest guest
We were seriously considering a far infrared sauna, but decided on a QRS system instead, my doc says he's had better detoxing results with the QRS. I love it, I have felt so much better using it. I use it every day twice a day. Linn > > I invested in a far infrared sauna (per Dr Sherry ' book, Detox or > Die). Guest guest
Linn, how much was the QRS? What gains have you received from using it? Guest guest
It was expensive, about $2800, although you can rent it for $400 for two months to see if you get good results. It increases your energy level, but it also really helps with aches and pains. I had been dealing with a bad case of plantar fasciitis for several months. The first time I used the QRS, I was able to step on my foot with no pain at all. Hadn't been able to put any weight on it at all hardly. That sold me. My doc says it's the best form of detox he's found. He deals with lots of autistic kids and finds it very helpful. Guest guest
QRS stands for Quantron Resonance System, pulsed magnetic field therapy. http://www.braintuner.com/qrt.htm Linn We were seriously considering a far infrared sauna, but decided on a QRS system instead, > > my doc says he's had better detoxing results with the QRS.
