Guest guest
THAT sounds familiar hon - yowzers - when I was young - and STUPID - and pregnant with child #1 - I TRIED that to bring on labor - I was 2 weeks late and just frantic with getting it over with - um - yeah - know that stand vs sit scenario - it was horrible -and it did NOT work - and I can totally empathize with ya - I too am still hunting for a way to combat the constipation - doggone stuff - and I am headed back into the same scene as last weekend - mag citrate (shudders) and dulcolax tabs which I am sure are not good on a day to day basis. So - glad that the little problem is taken care of - for you anyhow - let me know how the testing goes - lol - deb in NE Constipation and Olive Oil Hello All: Mom and I were discussing the olive oil thing last week when I was in Washington. Since I'm convinced that it's the protein shakes and calcuium that's constipating me I thought I would try some olive oil in my shakes to see if it would help the problem. I also wanted to find out if the olive oil would contaminate the shake and taste putrude. It didn't, I couldn't taste it at all but OHHHHHHH MYYYYYYY GODDDDD!!!! I was so sick last night! I thought I was going to die. I didn't know whether I had to stand up and vomit or sit down and you know what. It worked but it wasn't worth it. I probably put in too much oil. I was trying to judge a teaspoon. It was probably more like a tablespoon. I'm not giving up though. After my body relaxes from the shock I think I'll try experimenting with much less oil. Also I think I'll try a different oil like flaxseed, which is also good for menapause. (TO MOM: I can't even imagine would a half of a cup would do!!!) God for bid, probably put you right back in St. Francis. Roe
