Guest guest
After calling the orthotics office and telling them about Vinny being fussy, not wanting to sleep now, and my concerns that the shoe was too big... they had me bring him in on Monday. His shoes were too big, the bar was too wide, and the rotation (70 degrees) was causing him to pop his knee joint everytime he tried to move! I felt terrible. After trying to let him just get used to his shoes, the whole time he was in pain and couldn't really tell me it was pain and not simply dislike of the shoes themselves. Now he is in a size 0, rotated 55 degrees and has a shorter bar. He is more pleasant now... but after this weekend, his days and nights are mixed up again. Apparently this is not unusual to have the first set of shoes be a complete mistake. Has anyone else had this problem with getting fitted for the shoes?
