Guest guest
It sounds like you are doing an awesome job of looking into/implementing some dietary interventions for you son! We haven't used zinc but I have heard that it plays a large role for some kids. Do you have any advice about introducing zinc? Is there a toxic amount? My son is on alot of supplements: multivitamin, juice plus, probiotics, digestive enzymes, fatty acids, ambrotose, DMG, Zinc, folic acid with B12, B6/Mag...we have seen good things with all of these and are trying to get his immune and GI systems under control. We saw progress with each such as speech, attentiveness, overall health, etc. Our doctor also helps us add other supplements as needed. When I started all of these supplements, I did it completely on my own according to my own research and knowledge (I am a registered nurse). I keep a very good journal and do not continue with those things that he has shown no improvment with. These groups are also wonderful resources...use them and do what you feel is best and appropriate for your child. Good Luck!
