I found this organization's address on the web. Contact them and they will

be able to refer you to a homeopath in your area. From what I've learned,

the most legitimate school of homeopathy is referred to as " classical', so be

sure to tell them you want a referral to a classical homeopathist.

Regarding the length of treatment, our homeopathist said that one month for

each year of life was " general rule of thumb " - however, he hastened to add

that he didn't think it would take nearly that long to lick my son's

urticaria. And indeed, it hasn't. Since his most recent homeopathic remedy

two weeks ago, he's all but cured - having had only two, very minor attacks

in extreme conditions. He began the homeopathic treatment only two months

ago, so take heart... your own cure MAY be much less than 17 months as well.

As for the success rate... unfortunately, there really haven't been any solid

scientific studies about that. More unfortunately, because homeopathy is a

metaphysical (meaning " beyond the physical " ) mode of treatment - i.e., it

cannot be understood or explained by conventional science because it works in

a realm they cannot touch, see or quantify - it's unlikely that there will be

any rush by the scientific world to study it any time soon. Add to that that

its practice threatens both the conventional medical establishment and the

highly powerful pharmaceutical industry and you can pretty much expect peace

in the Middle East before studies supporting and proving the efficacy of

homeopathy.

That doesn't matter, though! Homeopathy has been around for 200 years, has

cured millions of people of countless ailments (and it is MOST effective with

chronic and recurring conditions such as urticaria and allergies) and has

plenty of current-day proponents of note. Some quotes I found while
