Guest guest
BP rising when standing is not only adequate cortisol it is also an indicator of aldosterone. So i don't think it is a good tool to gauge cortisol only. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing. Guest guest
The way I understand it is Aldosterone supports the BP to a certain amount of high or low, such as low A equals 90/50 adn normal A equals 110/70. But these will still drop when standing even with perfect aldosterone. Thus if you have low A adn low cortiosl sitting is 90/50 adn standing is 80/45 adn you feel like oyu will pass out when you stand too quickly. If you have adequate A adn cortisol is low you will have 110/70 sitting and 90/65 standing., not enough lower to make you dizzy but certainly not healthy either. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
