Guest guest
>>Val, can you give us some more info on tracking our BP's in relation to our HC dosage? Is there a certain time of day that is best? A certain amount of time after a dose of HC that is preferable? Thanks,<< It shoudl rise sitting to standing EVERY time oyu take it so checking several times a day is fine, but I would vary the times you check it, both before and a couple hours after a HC dose. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Would bp monitoring work as good as temp monitoring? that would be easier for me. bw Nil BP rise on standing, was Re: valerie on last posting If you adjust your HC based on BPs, I would assume you would give each adjustment a week or so to be reflected in the BP just as you would with temps. Is that correct? And, can you use the BP to track HC dosing if you have aldosterone issues? Thanks, English
Guest guest
Can someone tell me what BP has to do with aldosterone? I'm lost on this. Also, I am finally up to dosing at 5, 2.5, 2.5 for a total of 10mg HC for the last three days. Each day I took the 5mg,I was anxious and jitty for about 4 hours. However, When I take my BP, it's higher lying down, drops about 5 points upon sitting and drops another 3-5 point upon standing so I can only presume that I'm not close to my limit of HC. So why the jitteriness? Any ideas, anyone? > And, can you use the BP to track HC dosing if you have aldosterone > issues? > > Thanks, > English
Guest guest
>>And, can you use the BP to track HC dosing if you have aldosterone issues?<< I believe even with low Aldosterone the BP should rise butthe overall numbers will be lower (or higher) than if ti si just cortiosl. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I think BP changes are slower than temp changes. Thus you could pass a good dose by beofre the BP came up. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
>>Ooh that is good to know, for some reason, I thought it would be the opposite. So I guess you would need to stick with your " test dose " for 2 weeks or so if you were using this method?<< Yes! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
