Strange Reaction/Side-Effect?

I am on 5 grains of Armour, and just recently went off Cortef after 18 months.

I had no problems going off; have had a moderate worsening of my fibromyalgia;

still cannot lose any weight; do NOT need the Zoloft the dr. said I could not do

without. All-in-all,

I'm doing OK.

My temps before going off 25 mg. Cortef tended to run about 98.8-99.2. When I

was completely off, temps were running about 96.8, but have steadily increased

over the past 2 weeks. Today, I reached 99.0 again. I take 5 grains: 8AM,

10AM, 12PM, 2PM, 4PM. Have had no problems at all with skipped beats until 2

days ago. Only 1-2 skips, 1-2 times.

Last night, I was lying on sofa, watching tv. I dozed for a while, then had the

strangest sensation. I was lying on my back, half-asleep, when I became aware

of a buzzing sound in my head with the sensation of trying to pass out (?) I

had a similar thing happen years ago, when I was 14. I was standing in church,

singing, when I suddenly felt a buzzing sensation in my head, things began going

dark, and I almost passed out. My sister had to catch me from falling. I had

started my period the day before, and I always had very heavy periods, combined

with low blood pressure, so I always blamed it on that. My mother also had very

low blood pressure.

Last night, I felt the same sensation; as I was lying down, a change in blood

pressure was not an issue. I do have a low pulse rate (65-75); my blood

pressure at its highest was 104/70.

I was not moving around or sleeping in a position that would place pressure on

an artery, etc., to stop blood flow.

Is this part of readjustment from stopping Cortef?

Any ideas??

Jan
