Guest guest
Hi Tree, I read your reply to and I am interested in Quercitin. I have angioedema and take Claritin daily, and when my throat or tongue starts swelling, I do basically what you do - start with Benadryl, then if doesn't help, I take Prednisone, 40 mgm. My doctor just prescribed Medrol but fortunately I haven't had to use it yet. I have two Epipens always with me too. The same doctor (internist) dx me with thyroid problems a year ago and all the doctors (endo, allergist) hoped with thyroid treatment the angioedema would go away, but it hasn't; since I started Claritin I haven't had an attack so I am praying maybe this has helped. I did a search on Quercitin on the web, but not much luck. My question for you - why are you taking the Quercitin and what are the results? I read in your post to that you are able to take less meds now ... that sounds like it's doing something great for you. I am hoping that maybe this could help me too.
