Guest guest
Hi everyone, I recieved preliminary results on my recent biopsy and was wondering if anyone has an idea of what this means...increase in subsarcolemmal mitochondriasl aggregates and increase in subsarcolemmal crescents both in scattered muscle fibers. Anything I look up takes me to muscular dystrophy pages but no real definitions. I won't get to talk to my neuro for a while and am curious. THanks Anne
Guest guest
Here's a little of what I found associated with Dr Cohen. He's going to chat with us again in February so if you are still unsure by then - you might try coming to chat to see if he can help you. http://www.mitosoc.org/PhotoPuzzlerArchives.htm and some information on subsarcolemmal crescents www.hkam.org.hk/publications/hkmj/ article_pdfs/hkm0204p137.pdf You may have to copy and paste the second link into your address line. It is a PDF file so you need Adobe to read it. Part of it is actually in Chinese. Hope these articles help.
