Guest guest
Hi all. I went for my 6 month checkup. Surgery was 05/13/02 I am down from 351 to 261. A loss of 90 lbs. I told my surgeon that I was never too much lower than 240 all my adult life and that I was a fat kid...He said that I probably would not go too much lower than 240. I would like some feedback from the group on that statement. Please email me direct. Thanks, I am very disillusioned right now. Dorene doegrl8@... or doegrl8@... Guest guest
Dorene - You may hit a big plateau at 240, but I bet if you work really hard at it, and exercise, too, you can get below that mark. Congrats on those 90 pounds. Good for you! Jeanne in WI Age 39 Open RNY 05/21/2002 314/ 237/150-175 5' 8 " djgraves@...

Guest guest
OK, let's review what you're doing & not doing. 5-6 meals per day, about 2 oz each 64+ oz water 60+ g of protein in supplement taking vites & minerals no milk no sugar (reading labels, single digit per meal sugar g limit) no drinking with meals no grazing Doing these, you are doing the basics YOU can control. Many do lose 100% of their excess, and keep it off,. But they avoid what will hurt them and don't run from what can help them. The average IS 50% of your excess. But that's also using the milk & sugar program that most clinics recommend. Use the same formula, get the same result. Change the formula, change the result.
