Guest guest
I am going to see my doctor on the 17th for something unrelated to adrenal or thyroid. Thing is, this doctor will order most any blood test I ask him to, assuming I can explain to him why I need it. He is not really educated about AF but he knows I have researched this and trusts me to know what I need. My question is... What tests specifically should I ask him for in relation to thyroid & Adrenal health. I want as much testing as possible. He will be doing a basic CBC panel, all vitamin levels A,D-125 and D-OH, E, K, C, B-1, B-5, B-6, B-12; Ferritin & full iron panel. Potassium/ sodium will be tested as well. He will only be able to order serum testing, no saliva. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am particularly interestd in STIM, Aderostol (spelling), Renin, FT3 resistance testing. I know to ask for: Free T 3 Free T 4 TSH TPO Antibodies DHEA Progesterone Estrog (I am 46, have had no period in 6 months now after extreme estrog dominance 400 points over range)and 6 months of progesterone cream) I am no longer using prog cream Any others? I am currently taking 2 grains armour, 30 mg HC. What should I do in terms of taking my meds close to the draw date? I will be testing my blood at 10:00 AM fasting, my appointment is 9:00 AM. This Doc in in Atlanta, so I only get to see him every couple of years, so I gotta get all I can. Help please... Thanks,
