Guest guest
My doctor perscribed blood pressure medicine, but couldn't stand the shortness of breath and don't want to think of the long termaffects,so I weaned off slowly. My BP is nowl l47/98. I have my 4 month's check this week. I " m going to have to tell her, and she will be aggravated with me. Any doctor should be looking for the root cause (hypothyroidism and high cortisol), but they don't operate that way. I need my doctor for tests, so don't really know what I'm going to do. How would starting up BP med interact with Isocort? may cancel the appointment. Somebody help me here , please. Trying to self-treat but keep one foot in mainstream medicine is a delicate situation. Sincerely, Pat Re: 3:00 AM and about licorice It is hard to say if there is a conversion problem, btu fdor certain you are veyr hypothyroid. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
There are three different kinds of Blood pressure meds and many different variations in side effects and effectiveness even within the same family of drug. If you cannot stand a BP med because of shortness of breath, or any unbearable side effect, TELL YOUR DOCTOR! Be completely honest and upfront with him/her. This is one of the RARE areas where a main stream doctor is actually quite helpful, perhaps because the test for high BP is quick, easy, and completely believed. The meds are effective and very important. High blood pressure not only can cause strokes,it can gradually cause Alzheimer's like brain damage over a great period of time. Do you love your mind? Treat your high blood pressure! DO work with one that understands you will monitor your BP at home and dose according to that, not to his only-during-his visit BP test. That is unless you are rich and can see your doctor most every day! Hensley <>< 8-)
