Pat,

Do you have to tell her you stopped the BP meds? Is you BP better or worse

when she put you on the meds?

I found sometimes selective information with docs works best to get what you

need.

Cheri

Dr. appt. and BP

My doctor perscribed blood pressure medicine, but couldn't stand the

shortness of breath and don't want to think of the long termaffects,so I

weaned off slowly. My BP is nowl l47/98. I have my 4 month's check this

week. I " m going to have to tell her, and she will be aggravated with me. Any

doctor should be looking for the root cause (hypothyroidism and high

cortisol), but they don't operate that way.

I need my doctor for tests, so don't really know what I'm going to do. How

would starting up BP med interact with Isocort? may cancel the appointment.

Somebody help me here , please. Trying to self-treat but keep one foot in

mainstream medicine is a delicate situation.

Sincerely,

Pat

Cheri, it's not much worse, but she increased it up from last time because

although it had improved, even though I wasn't on the medicine she perscribed,

it was not the l20/80 they want.

Thank's for answering - was wondering if others had ever gotten themselves in

this spot and how they handled it.
