Guest guest
Hi all. I just got off the phone w/my pcp's secretary. Here is my dilema. My pcp of many years, one who I had talked to about this surgery with and who supported my 100% passed away recently. The younger doctor that replaced him wasn't AS supportive when I spoke to him breifly a few months ago. I called today to ask for a letter to be sent w/my insurance stuff. I already have a letter from my OBGYN who put me on glucophage and my back surgeon. The doctor now has to see me before he will write anything up. What kind of stuff should I ask him for? I'm a little apprehensive about it now because I don't know how he's going to be about it. Will I have a problem asking for my records to be copied for the insurance? Anyway, the secretary wanted to schedule my appt. after my appt. with Dr. Hess. I told her that wouldn't do much good, I wanted to be prepared going into it. I just get the feeling they aren't sure what I need. HELP! I want to be prepared! Thanks in advance! Jodie
