Guest guest
In the latest British Heart Foundation Atrial Fibrillation update, it says the success rate for RF ablation within the left atrium is 70%. It says that even this rate can only be achieved 'in experienced hands' and with multiple procedures and with the potential risk of complications. This rate seems disappointingly low. I've discussed ablation with my cardio in the past and we've agreed to go for it once the success rate is 95% plus. Looks like I've got a bit of waiting to do!
