Guest guest
-I don't think you would be normal if you didn't have fears. This is a huge step and not to be taken lightly. Just take a deep breath, close your eyes and 'see' yourself in a couple years. Thinner, healther, active.....fill you mind with those thoughts...smile and greet the next 8 days with the knowledge that your headed to a newer, healther you. Guest guest
, I think I have heard those same things from a very lot of people. My opinion is it human nature to let your mind think about the worse that can happen, then you are prepared (some what) if something does go wrong. Plus you can't block out all of what you read. Just try to trust in your Dr. and bring yourself to an inner peace and know you will be alright. Although I am prepared for the first 3 weeks of being pure hell. I do understand how you feel though I have been going through my own emotional roller coaster and mine is possibly 3 weeks away. ( No approval yet) Just know that these thoughts are normal and you are going to fine. Guest guest
Hi , Im having my bpd/ds the same day as u in Mt SInai and yes we are all worried, I have a son that needs me but I figure with this in GOD'S hands, I pray for it to be a success. I too worry about regaining it, they used to say with the rny you wouldnt regain it, so how do we really know. But I have been told it cant happen so I am willing to take the risk as the wieght is a bigger risk im taking.
