Guest guest
CONGRATULATIONS RUTHIE!!!!!!! I just did a cheer for you but of course you couldn't see it. LOL That is so great. I am happy for you. My daughter and I have been to the outback steak house and I love that place. They have the best food. Have you tried their shrimp cocktails??/ Laverne
Guest guest
Ah, nothing like the glow of a newbie in full weight loss mode to remind us how wonderful low carb eating is. Congratulations Ruthie!!! I would do the dancing cheerleaders for you if I had that capability. Will you settle for a loud hooray? 190/141.5./135 12/7/98 Friday Goal -

Guest guest
Ruthie, I'm glad you heard my hooray for you! Thanks for the comments on how close I am to goal and I would like to tell you just how proud I am of that, except that I was already at goal once. Then I went to the naughty corner for a solid month and boy was I naughty! I regained 10-11 pounds and have been struggling to get back to goal for about 7 months now. Luckily, I did put a time limit on the time I was allowing myself to be naughty and I stuck to it before I regained everything. Folks, you just can't go back to your old ways. There are a lot of us here who will tell you that. Jean
Guest guest
The thing I like about the Outback is that they don't mind if you order your steak with just brocolli (No stupid veggies that are almost all carrots) > Thanks Laverne!! > I haven't tried the shrimp cocktail, but...Yummy!! Guest guest
Ruthie, the best results that I have had is my tryglicerides (sp) went way way down. And my good cholesterol went way up. Laverne
Guest guest
Ruthie, I started low carbing on 5/31/01. I first lost my weight with a low fat diet in 1991 and it has been up and down since then. I have struggled to stay within 10 lbs. of my goal weight, and I do mean struggle. When I started the end of May I was 134 and as of this morning I am 127. My goal is to get to 119. It is true that the last 10 lbs. are the hardest to lose, but I can honestly say I am really enjoying eating great foods and not feeling deprived all the time. I still feel like I am cheating when I add butter instead of Molly McButter and to be able to eat sour cream, cream cheese, cheese, etc. I could go on and on. I love this WOE!!!!!!!! 134/127/119 5/31/01 > Thanks !! How long have you been on this WOE? How is your progress so > I can cheer for you, too?!!! > > Ruthie
