Visit with (& other WLSrs)

Hi all! One more update about . WOW she is doing terrific!!

I just missed Bob's visit (shucks!) but stayed with her for a few

hours. She tried the puree chicken which she politely said wasn't

really as bad as it looked (lol) and mashed potatoes. ***Proud

Smile**** Terri, the RNY tenant two doors down, stopped by and we

chatted awhile. Terri is back on liquids because of nausea but has

her strength.

Liz, one of 's Angels, came a few minutes after I did and we

all had a blast! We got a complaint from Nurse Rachet (our little

nickname) because we were having too much fun and laughing too hard!

So, we moved the party to the lounge area, Liz did our nails and we

chatted with another RNY patient and her family. Of course,

did most of the chatting and gave counseling to the family on the

various surgeries, etc (she really brings new meaning to the word

recuperating!). The afternoon flew by and since we sufficiently

tired out...we let her rest about 5ish

I wish I had known that Vera was on another floor! I went around

the 10th floor peeking in and checking names on rooms looking for

(obviously to no avail since she was another floor). I am glad to

hear she is well.

I just wanted to chime in on 's great progress. It was great

to see her and to meet Liz. This is one of my better Saturdays of

late
