Guest guest
, I have theorized about this for years. When I was 18, I was away at college - fell to the floor one day in excruciating pain and was taken to the hospital. When they could not determine what was wrong, they did an exploratory operation. It turned out that my intestines were sooooo long -- they had wrapped around my colon, squeezing it and that was causing the pain. They unraveled it ... took out my appendix for good measure (instead of shortening the intestines - which might have been the whole answer back 35 years ago!) and here I am now at over 300 pounds ... saying to you " ...hhhmmm how do we get someone to work on that??? Guest guest
, I know that Dr. Booth is one of the "founding fathers" of this type of surgery. I think he is fantastic, even though I am still a preop of his. He and Dr are good friends, and yes Dr "learned his stuff" from working with Dr. Booth for some time before relocating to GA. I have already been an angel to one of his patients ... and she was out of the hospital in like 5 days .. with no real problems at all. I have heard only the best about him. I need to ask him about the intestine issue myself ... your bringing it up reminded me of my own issue years ago!! Will keep you posted on anything I find out. Guest guest
I'm going to have to ask a doctor about this... it would make sense... What is the scoop on Dr. Booth? Is he one of the best at this surgery? I am considering using Dr. , who I believe learned from him. Thanks! At 03:41 PM 1/5/01 -0500, you wrote: , I have theorized about this for years.
