Guest guest
Did today go better? I know what you mean about being worth it, sometimes it just is, especially if you can get right back to it. I'm feeling almost fanatical, even when I get that food frenzy feeling where all I want to do is eat, I'm keeping it to low carb stuff. I feel that original determination again. You can do it, too! DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE, YOUNG LADY! Come in a 4-pack and of course i ate all 4 in the course of my vacation day off Friday. 88 carbs plus the norm veggies, etc still in trace ketosis double chocolate giant muffins. they were worth it.....still holding at 15 pounds down. So glad you are hanging in there too!!
Guest guest
Robin, Here's the entrance to the naughty corner. There's plenty of room for you and your empty muffin box. isn't in there this weekend. Now, stop doing that! Don't ruin a great induction and regain one single ounce of that 15 pounds. Get a grip right now and get back on track. Terry168/158.75/156 (minigoal)/ ? Guest guest
My 25th High School Reunion is SEptember 29th. I already weigh less then I did in High School but I have two months to do a little upper body weight training. well, i'd kinda like to be real thin by next week, but I think planning on November would be a good date for me. Guest guest
Well heck I'd like next week, too, LOL...If I have the estimate right I'll should be about 20 pounds away come the end of November. ugh. Sounds like so long. I can usually lose 8-10 pounds per month, that's being pretty liberal some days, though, adn eating quite a bit. Seems like I have a better handle on my quantities (most days) this time around...so maybe I'll be closer than 20 pounds. Wouldn't that be great! I'll at least have quite a bit more to wear when I get that for. Guest guest
Robin, stay away from those muffins! No, that does not mean KK is okay! LOL Why is it that every time we get back on track for a period of time and lose weight we suddenly feel like we deserve a reward? I have done battle with some chocolate chip muffins myself and it isn't an easy one to win. So don't get them again and they can't tempt you. That is easier said than done at my grocery store where they sit in the outside aisle just waiting to jump in my cart as I turn my back to get eggs for the Atkins rolls. Aren't those things supposed to be in the middle of the store or something, out of sight of us LC'ers? 190/141.5./135 12/7/98 Friday Goal -
Guest guest
I know what you mean the fresh muffins are right next to the mediterranian bar (where I buy fresh mozzarella). I've been good today (guess I need to be after that whole ugly pizza thing). I had a ham slice for breakfast, 1 nectarine, some pork rinds and 2 tbs. salsa dip, 3 oz. tuna w/1tbsp mayo and 1/2 tsp relish and 4 oz. cottage cheese. Dinner will be pork shops and squash. Guest guest
I thought this was beautiful and wanted to share it. Sandy Today, your whole life is ahead of you. No matter what your past has been, or how long that past has lasted, there are joys ahead, waiting to be lived. New discoveries are waiting to be made. If only you will decide to make them. You are brimming with possibility In every direction you look, is opportunity. The obstacles you face are minuscule, when compared to the abilities you command. Today is a bright and beautiful day because you are alive. And there are so many great things you can do with your life. There is no one better than you. There is no one more fortunate than you. You can be whatever you want to be, have whatever you want to have, and do whatever you want to do. If only you are willing to put forth the effort required. No one has more than that. Wherever you are, right now, is the ideal starting point for a brilliant, joyful future. Appreciate all the wonderful things you have, and live your possibilities.
