will allergy med skew my thyroid panels?

I'm waiting impatiently for my authorization for testing from

HealthcheckUSA. They said they mailed it on Tuesday from Texas, maybe it

will get here to Wisconsin tomorrow. In the meantime, I have avoided

taking my benadryl allergy med because I always wondered if it affected

the antibodies portion of the test 18 months ago. I haven't needed the

benadryl, so it was okay not taking it now. Last night I developed a

hive on my chin - and I would sort of like to take my benadryl - but I

have waited so long for these tests, I don't want to screw it up for

just another day or over the weekend waiting. Does allergy med

(benadryl) affect the antibodies portion of the test, or any other

portion? It is a histamne blocker, but aren't antibodies affected too?
