Guest guest
Vera, Lee's blood pressure is usually around 90/60 s/d but toward evening when the internal tremors are extremely bad the bp will spike to as high as 220/110. Dr. said to get him on his feet to lower it, which it does, but the struggle of standing takes its toll on both of us. Within an hour or so, the bp will be within reasonable limits and we try to hurry off to bed before anything else happens. Morning bp can be either high or low - no ryhyme or reason for it. Lee's been on sinemet for about 2 years ( up to 25/100 and 50/200cr 5X now). It works about 75% of the time. Amantadine helps a little with balance but... I sometimes feel as though all I do is hand out pills. Along with everyone else, I hate this disease. Ann from PA
