Guest guest
Hi This is just an update on our son Connor. He is now 8 months and been in the DBB since he was 7 weeks. We have just got his third pair of shoes size 0. They had to be ordered as they didn't have any in stock. They came yesterday and I was pleased to see that they were the new Markell boots with the padded heels and tongue. He wore them last night and I have just taken them off and there isn't a mark on his foot or heel. The last 2 pairs have caused lots of problems with blisters and red spots. I did think that the strap didn't seem as long but I suppose that is the padding in the tongue. I had been dreading getting new shoes. He has scars on his heels from the first pair of shoes where he got infected blisters. So it looks like these shoes will be fine. I also don't think they are very much bigger than the 00's which is a shame, his toes are on the end. We did try one size 0 on in the old style and they were plenty big enough, it just means he won't be in these long and they won't guarantee that I'll get a new pair next time. I might even buy them myself direct if that is the case!!!! Don't want to go down that road of blisters again!! Anyway at our last appointment they said his feet were doing great.
