Guest guest
Hi S. Yes my daughter Chelsea has been wearing these shoes since we travelled to Iowa City in September. He also made the shoes for Audra's son Asa, and a few other babies. They are wonderful. They are comfortable, easy to use, and they stay on. -They don't budge at all so they won't cause blisters. Each pair of shoes is hand made by . Unfortunately they are not being mass- produced , so the availability is very limited. My Dr in NY wanted to buy them from for his practice but he has not been able to yet. is trying to get a patent for his design, which will enable him to set up some sort of mass production, so he has asked me not to describe them in detail or share pictures of them on the internet. You should feel very lucky that Dr. Ponseti is making them available to you. Definitely contact him and get your shoes - they are very special! > My son is in his 2nd pair of DBB's and both have caused sores on his heels. Spoke with Dr. Ponseti today; he recommends I contact a person named who could possibly remedy the situation with a different type of boot. Does anyone have experience with and could you enlighten me any regarding this? > thank you, > S. > > >
Guest guest
I spoke with Mr. on the telephone yesterday and what a kind, generous hearted man he is! I am so excited about trying this new prototype, ANYthing to eleminate those throw backs from the dinasaur age we've been forced to use thus far. They are rather barbaric. My son got his DBB Oct. 31st, I wonder why Dr. Ponseti did not mention Mr. to me at that time (nor did I hear about the improved Markell at that time)....in any event, Mr. explained to me he needs more " Field Trial " results on his shoe and has asked that I be very honest with him about their results which I will be more than happy to do. I am so happy to hear you are having such good results!!! I can't wait for little Everett to finally wear a brace that doesn't make him cry 24/7. s. Hi S.
