Guest guest
Hi Tawnya, I suppose that is true, the longer the test the less the hearing loss so in essence that is better, LOL.... Unfortunalty the test for Ricky was inconclusive due to his waking up and because of the darn fluid, so I have to wait another month and a half probably 2 months more before we can do more testing and likely not a ABR but another OAE. Not sure what the next step is other than that, to see the ENT again and then re-test. So basically I am not really farther ahead other than it appears that in at least one ear the hearing loss is a mild one. I have no clue about the other ear though. This is very frustrating for me!! --- The Archers wrote: --------------------------------- I was really nervous, but relieved to know that the ENT and Audi felt that Ians test would be definate. Since he was sedated it went really well. They got all the info they needed. They said that since he has mild/mod that it took longer. I guess that severe kids are easier to test because they don't react. They also used the results from Ian's test to set his Hearing Aids. So what is your next step?
