Guest guest
HI , I am sorry she had a reaction to the sedation Poor girl I am glad that one ear seems to be ok though sorry the other seems to have severe loss. I am wonderign if Ricky may have one ear worse than the other too. Good luck with the final results and all the progress after. --- mothereagle wrote: --------------------------------- Hi, We survived the ABR. She didn't even scream or cry receiving the IV. The sedation went ok, although they had to keep giving her more medication. She threw up on the way home. Kept insisting she could walk when we got home and we had to struggle to keep her from bashing into stuff. She is sleeping now. Audiologist wasn't too informative, she was young and possibly inexperienced. I did manage to get some info.. It looks like she has severe hearing loss in her left ear. The right ear is possibly near normal. She said she would write the report this afternoon and call me. I feel so sad for my baby girl and angry at myself for not moving on the speech delay sooner. ===== SAHM to Danny (33wker now 9), Olivia (34wker now 2), and Ricky (born May 13, 2004 at 36 wks!) ~i~ & Karina~i~ (Sept. 6/00) ***Visit Our Family Website*** http://www.geocities.com/poohbear1252 __________________________________________________
