Guest guest
, Yes to your question!! I had a loss of almost half my hair from HC. I have since lowered down to 20 HC and my hair loss has stopped. I also had severe heart palps too and those are " almost " gone now that I am down to 20.(actually I am still on Medrol but, am on only 4 mg.which equates to 20 HC) , maybe you are now on too much HC now for your body? Something to consider. I was on HC for about 10 months before I started the weaning process. I also got severe rib pain and slight buffalo hump so had to get down as much as I could. (still have the rib pain) I don't think the rib pain will go away until I am completely off the cortisol which will take me a long time bc I can only wean by 1 mg. at a time now. Anyways, my point is that not everyone should be on HC as long or on as much. We are each individuals. Hair loss was my first clue to wean and I didn't realize it. Guest guest
Dana, interesting you should mention rib pain,as whenI wokeat 6:30, then went back to bed upper right (my right hand side) had pain for about 10-l5 min. Never, never had that, although I have shortness of breath after starting Isocort about two months ago. I'm trying to understand this new symptom of pain, so do you think it's the Isocortor just a cooincidence? Thank'sfor any inpuPat Re: HC and hair loss() , Yes to your question!!
