I was working at a stressfull Job and switched to a different company

(much less stress) in July 2007. I noticed I needed some stress

relief and began working on healing my adrenals. I began taking 1/4-

1/2 tsp of celtic sea salt, phosphadityl serine and 4-5000mg of

Vitamin C as well as supplements from Thorne (Cortine and Cortrex) in

July of last year. Then I started taking Armour in September. Been

feeling much better lately and actually lost a couple of pounds over

the last few weeks!

Stress has been increasing due to some some health issues of a family

member, holiday stress has also been building. I have been feeling

it. I have been far more sensitive to light and jumpy when someone

walks up to me.

Yesterday, I had another temporary stressor added onto that! I found

myself at my wits end - worse than I was in July. I was nervous,

upset and exhausted by 5pm and I still had to drive home and get my

son dinner and homework done. I was so exhausted but couldn't

relax. I finally sat down and crashed on the couch at 8pm. Sleep

was restless and I kept waking up frequently through the night!

I am considering trying to further support my adrenals...obviously I

need it. Licorice and I have read about isocort. However, since I

am already taking adrenal glandulars, wouldn't Isocort be almost the

same thing?

I have not yet found a doctor to work with me on this. I have an

appointment jsut before x-mas with a potential one though. I am

considering starting hydrocortisone cream. I understand that the 1%

solution has about 10mg per 1/4 tsp. I have read the protocol for

starting dosages. Can you purchase a syringe to accurately measure

the hydrocortisone cream?
