Anytime, Peggy! Nice to have all that skin gathered up into some serious

Lycra, isn't it?

Welcome to the official Grad list and congratulations on your wonderful

progress!

Peggy,

Well, actually, I think it pretty cool that you are healthy enough to get a

sassy little cut for your hair! Haha! I had to wear my once long hair in a

curly little perm because my arms and shoulders were too heavy to work with my

hair! I'm mid-length now, because I think I'm too old for the long stuff, but

dang, I'm not so old I need to keep that old lady look I had when I didn't have

a choice!

My husband would prefer my hair down to my knees, too, but when it was to my

waist (10 yrs ago), the hair he admired was that ultra-thick stuff that hangs in

one sheet? I NEVER had that, and was never going to. Once I realized it was

never going to measure up to his dream, it was gone! Hahah!

He seems to be perfectly happy with the body I got out of the deal, so not ONE

word about hair have I heard for years!

Congrats on your loss and good labs to date!

Thanks,

Thanks, Amber >>

I think the best brand is Bodyslimmers by Ganz. They are mostly in

department stores and come in a pretty wide range of sizes. You can get

shaping slips, bike shorts, even ankle length pants. But they are expensive.

Lots of people find that the brands at Wal-Mart or Target are fine also. Go

and try some on and see what you think.

At this point I wear the No Nonsense Great Shapes brand of pantyhose, which

have alot of Lycra. At Wal-Mart they have the shaping panty without the hose,

that you can wear under anything.

I think WLS-created hanging skin is why God created Lycra!

Amber,

I use body slimmers once in a while (Ann (RNY) is the body slimmer expert. I

use a couple other things as well... Water bras - which give the top half

(your boobs) a little boost and shape and I use the long panty girdles -- the

long ones that go part way down your thighs -- I like the panty girdles

because it avoids the panty lines and marks across your fanny. I wear pants

a lot so the long panty girdles work well under pants for me. If I'm wearing

a tight top I might opt for the body slimmer instead. It really depends upon

where the bulges or bags might be exposed!!
