Guest guest Posted May 5, 2003 Report Share Posted May 5, 2003 my Gp recently prescribed metroidazol (generic for Flagyl) for an infection. judging by the taste it leaves in my mouth and the dark color of my urine i think it must contain iodine. I am scheduled for RAI on June 5 and start low iodine diet on May 19. Does anyone know if the med does contain iodine and will my body have time to clear it. my last scheduled dose ot it is May 8. I know she checked because she told me one of mine didn't have red dye #3, but did contain red dye #... so I know she checked. Try them.
